About the series
Another gem in the crown of British series. Almost all the action takes place at a table in a London pub. Once a week, a husband and wife meet here for a glass of wine and a pint of beer before their sessions with a marriage counselor who lives across the street. The main characters are Louise (Rosamund Pike) and Tom (Chris O'Dowd). Louise works as a geriatrician at a London clinic. Tom is a music journalist. Neither of them ever misses a chance to make a snide joke about the other's profession. Tom and Louise's marriage is falling apart, whether from her chance infidelity or from mutual exhaustion with each other...
