About the title
Ebenezer Scrooge is a stingy, selfish, unpleasant and lonely old man. On the eve of yet another Christmas — a holiday Scrooge particularly despises — he is visited by three Ghosts of Christmas: Past, Present, and Yet to Come. He recalls how he once loved, sees himself from the outside, and witnesses his own death — utterly alone.
