About the title
After the Korean War, a lame musician and his son wander across the country. They accidentally stumble upon a remote mountain village and ask for shelter for a couple of days. The village elder allows them to stay, but it seems he is hiding something. Moreover, the village is suffering a real calamity — at night rats attack people, especially children.
