Luhansk region, May 2014. By chance, the Novozhilov family finds itself in the very thick of events in Luhansk. Vlad Novozhilov is a veteran of the Afghan war. He knows firsthand what war is. Having seen enough horrors of war in his time, he flatly refuses to even touch a weapon. He sees only one way out of the situation — to leave the country.
