About the title
The sketchbook of 10-year-old Amber accidentally falls into a magical pond of living water, and all her drawings suddenly come to life. There's just one catch — Amber loves drawing all kinds of scary monsters. When the town comes under attack from monsters of every stripe, Amber and her family must join forces and figure out how to stop the creatures they never meant to unleash.
