About the title
1946, the Soviet-Finnish border. After fighting the Germans, a former Finnish soldier returns to his native land, where his family was brutally killed during the war. Having decided to dismantle the house and rebuild it elsewhere, he loads the materials onto a truck and sets off. He soon encounters the Soviet commander who killed his family.
