About the series
Sister Boniface is a Catholic nun at the Convent of St. Vincent in the town of Great Slaughter in 1960s Britain. She is not only a nun but also a winemaker and a doctor of forensic science, which allows her to consult the local police on complex investigations. A spin-off of the series "Father Brown." The character first appeared in "Father Brown," in episode 6 of season 1, in which Father Brown investigates the murder of two nuns, aided by a nun who loves detective stories.
