About the title
Carmen and her younger sister Juliette spend a day visiting their neighbor, a children's author whose thrilling stories are devoted to the inhabitants of the fantastical Kingdom of the Winds. While their host is resting, the girls discover a figurine that comes to life and opens a portal to the magical land for them.
