About the title
Luis and his son travel to Morocco in search of his daughter, who went missing at a party in the desert. Moving from place to place, they learn of a last, semi-mythical rave near the border with Mauritania. The scorched earth and primeval desert landscape become a reflection of their fears and hopes, and against the backdrop of an approaching apocalypse, they must walk the thin line between heaven and hell.
