About the title
Young surfer Dondo tries to come to terms with the disappearance of his fisherman father at sea. He's shaken out of his numbness by the rebellious Sas, who isn't afraid to egg others on into reckless adventures. She suggests he escape the island to find his own way through the waves, beliefs, and hellfire.
