About the series
For many years now, humanity has been fighting the Titans — enormous creatures with no particular intelligence, but who eat people and enjoy doing it. After a long struggle, the remnants of humanity built a tall wall surrounding the land of men, which the Titans could not cross. The Titans attack the city, and the children watch in horror as one of the monsters devours Eren's mother alive. The boy swears that he will kill all the Titans and avenge humanity.
