About the title
1917, Hong Kong. Young Ip Man, full of hopes and ambitions, studies at university, but the peaceful life on the quiet campus soon comes to an end. Terrorists seize the building and begin killing students one by one. Ip Man realizes that only he can stop the criminals and save the hostages, since his old friend Hu is involved, as is Ma Long, an escaped convict who also turns out to know the hero. The largest hostage-taking in the country's history doesn't frighten Ip Man — he is ready to tirelessly fight anyone who carries threat and evil within them.
