About the title
These two girls share the same blood, but they hate each other. Dina is eight; she plays the violin and dreams of becoming an actress. Sveta is already thirteen; she's an excellent shot and wants to become a sniper in Chechnya. These young creatures are forced to live in a world ruled by the law of the jungle — a world where children are kidnapped and killed, and the law itself is nothing but a pale, powerless ghost… Dina's father, freshly released from prison, finds himself in a dire situation: his "colleagues" from the gang accuse him of stealing the communal criminal fund. The gangsters plan to kidnap his child, forcing him to hide both girls.
