About the title
Jonathan is a lonely New Yorker who has a fierce dislike for the New Year holidays. But one day, on the eve of another Christmas, he happens to run into Sarah. Two strangers suddenly find themselves drawn to each other with an irresistible force, something neither of them has ever experienced before. To test their feelings, Jonathan writes his phone number on a banknote, while she writes hers on the page of a book. Soon the banknote ends up in a stranger's pocket, and the book falls into the hands of a secondhand bookseller. But Jonathan and Sarah are convinced that one day their fates are bound to intertwine.
