About the title
Kosaku Ito teaches world history at a high school. He gives the impression of a fairly cold person, though in truth he has a kind heart. One of his students, the young and naive Hibiki Shimada, is in love with him and one day finds the courage to confess her feelings. Kosaku is puzzled — he cannot speak about feelings so openly, after all, he is a teacher.
