About the title
The year is 2002. High school senior Stephanie, daughter of immigrants from Australia and captain of the cheerleading squad, does everything she can to lay the groundwork for what she firmly believes will be a perfect life: becoming the most popular girl in school and winning the title of prom queen. But during a performance she lands badly and falls into a coma. Exactly 20 years later, Stephanie wakes up. Although the world and the rules of high school have changed dramatically, the 17-year-old girl, now in the body of a grown woman, heads back to her senior year to make her dream come true and become prom queen.
