About the title
When a political crisis erupts in Moldova (according to the filmmakers' version), the threat of a military coup and the overthrow of President Yuri Amirev arises. The president takes refuge on the grounds of the American embassy, and rebels begin a siege. Special forces officer Sam Kinnian, sent to the country to strengthen the embassy's defense, becomes the right hand of US Ambassador George Norland.
