About the series
Viktor Larenz (Stefan Kampwirth) is a Berlin psychiatrist who, two years ago, had to endure the worst thing a parent can imagine: his 13-year-old daughter Josy (Helena Zengel) vanished without a trace. There were no witnesses, no body, and most importantly, no evidence or clues pointing to her whereabouts. Two years later, the grief-stricken Viktor retreats to the island of Parkum, where he lives in a secluded cottage on the shore of the North Sea.
