About the series
Orphan Katya lived in an orphanage for many years, and at last her life brought her a home of her own and the comfort she had long awaited. But the happiness of comfortable living in a one-room apartment turned out to be short-lived. A fire broke out at the home of Katya's uncle, and he, along with his wife and child, moved in with her. The kind-hearted girl couldn't refuse her relatives, but she herself felt uncomfortable in her own home. A friend suggested the heroine move to another city, into an empty apartment belonging to people she knew.
