About the series
A collection of animated films by the "Tajikfilm" studio. The Tajikfilm film studio was founded back in 1930. Animation, in terms of when it emerged, is the youngest form of cinematic art in Tajik cinema — it was mastered at Tajikfilm only in 1980. Earlier, in the late 1960s – early 1970s, animators had come to the studio. However, at that time this initiative did not continue, since there was neither an appropriate technical base nor trained creative staff for it. In order to expand the studio's creative range into animation, the studio's management sent Munavvar Mansurkhodzhaev to study at VGIK in 1971; he later created an animation group over a number of years. Tajik animation mostly consists of kind fairy tales and stories for children, cultivating kindness, compassion, and a sense of humor.
