About the title
Frank is one of the best firefighters in Paris, whose motto is "Save or perish!" And that's exactly what he does — sacrificing himself for others every day. Frank lives right at the fire station with his wife and small twins, and his life could be called quite happy. But during one fire, while saving his comrades, Frank gets trapped in the flames. He wakes up in a burn unit, and now he must not only learn to live all over again, but also come to terms with the fact that it will no longer be him doing the rescuing, but others rescuing him.
