About the series
The daring Malay pirate Sandokan and his loyal crew live by their own laws, engaging in plunder and attacking British ships. They act in unison and fearlessly, clashing with soldiers armed to the teeth. During one of their raids, Sandokan meets Marianna Guillonk, the daughter of the British consul. A forbidden passion flares up between the freedom-loving aristocrat and the daring outlaw. The difference in social standing and way of life is not the only trial the lovers face. On Sandokan's trail is the cunning Lord James Brooke, who is willing to do anything to make Marianna his alone. Based on the novel "The Tigers of Mompracem" by Emilio Salgari.
