About the title
The 1970s. The golden age of Formula 1: sleek racing cars, drivers who are brutal on the track and vulnerable in everyday life, seductive fans, liters of champagne poured out for the winner at the finish line… Two irreconcilable rivals in racing history — the charming English playboy James Hunt and the disciplined Austrian perfectionist Niki Lauda — push themselves to the limits of physical and psychological endurance for the sake of triumph on the track. For them there are no easy paths to victory and no right to make mistakes. A single misstep could cost the drivers their careers and even their lives.
