About the title
Sarah arrives with her seven-year-old daughter at her parents' house. Upon seeing the girl for the first time, the grandmother mistakes her granddaughter for her own missing daughter, Alice, who was also seven when she disappeared. After that, Sarah's daughter begins behaving strangely, exhibiting the habits and behavior of the missing Alice. At first Sarah thinks her daughter is simply playing along with hints from the adults, but the longer the "game" continues, the more clearly something otherworldly manifests itself in the house. Sarah begins to sense her sister's ominous presence. To save herself and her daughter, Sarah must uncover the mystery of her sister's disappearance.
