About the title
Veronika's life is going well — she has her own business, a beloved partner, and a wedding coming up soon. Suddenly Veronika begins receiving strange tokens of attention: someone leaves a tea rose on her car windshield, then sends her a set of expensive lingerie with an unambiguous message. Her fiancé grows jealous, and their relationship deteriorates. Trouble starts at work too, snowballing from small issues until the business is shut down. Her fiancé cheats on her on the eve of the wedding. The heroine loses everything. But she realizes that what's happening is no coincidence. Veronika decides to find out who destroyed her life — and, most importantly, why.
