About the series
1984. A provincial Polish town is shaken by a double murder: a young prostitute and the head of the city sports committee are found in the forest with their throats cut. The police quickly find a scapegoat and hush up the case. But reporters from the newspaper Evening Courier — the cynical Witold and yesterday's journalism graduate Piotr — discover inconsistencies. The accused spent the whole night at a local bar, and besides, two teenagers in town recently committed suicide, and it seems all four deaths are somehow connected.
