About the title
After Richard the Lionheart dies on his way back to England from the Crusades, Robin Longstride, an archer in the royal army, deserts along with his friends. Taking on another man's identity, he returns home and heads to Nottingham to fulfill a vow made to a dying knight. There he will find a new home and family, fight conspirators whose goal is to hand England over to French rule, and begin his journey to becoming the very Robin Hood of Sherwood.
