About the series
New York, the 1960s. A wealthy man hires con man Tom Ripley to find his son, Dickie Greenleaf, in Italy, where he's living it up on his father's money — sailing yachts, sunbathing on beaches — and convince the young man to come home. Tom agrees, and this becomes his first step into a complicated life full of deception, fraud, and murder.
