About the title
Steve is a motivational speaker, Anika promotes cosmetics — in short, Steve and Anika are successful influencers living a beautiful, luxurious life: a big mansion with a pool and millions of gullible followers. But one day all the clocks and mirrors in the house start showing a countdown. When time runs out, the couple falls asleep as if on command. Waking up, the young people realize that all this time they had been living in a virtual simulator: it gives emigrants a chance to taste the perfect Canadian life they could have after moving. Now the couple has 21 days to earn money for a new immersion into "Arcadia," or they will have to leave the country forever.
