About the series
In one of Denmark's most affluent districts, north of Copenhagen, a young Filipino housekeeper named Ruby disappears under strange circumstances, leaving behind her passport, cash, and all her other belongings in her room. Her employers, the wealthy couple Rasmus and Katarina, aren't very concerned about it, which arouses even more suspicion in their vigilant neighbor Cecilie. Since the police show no interest in the case of the missing immigrant, Cecilie starts her own investigation and gradually uncovers a shocking truth.
