About the title
The near future: Miami has almost completely sunk underwater due to global warming. Private investigator Nick Bannister uses special technology to search people's memories for specific moments, so that clients can relive the past and recall something important. One day a client turns up at his office with a simple request: she has forgotten where she left her keys. An ordinary session turns into a full-blown romance, until one day the woman vanishes without a trace.
