About the title
The main character, known as Ash, is a professional "fixer," a mediator specializing in resolving conflicts between corporations and their former employees who have decided to leak confidential company data. One day Ash receives a message from Sarah, a former employee of a biotech company who exposed her firm's dangerous developments and now needs protection. The "fixer" breaks his own rules and meets her in person, getting drawn into a dangerous game where the stakes are high and trust is scarce.
