About the title
Lin Shuling moved from Malaysia to Singapore and works as a Chinese language teacher at a secondary school. Her family life leaves her feeling deeply depressed and lonely: her father-in-law is paralyzed and unable to speak, and her husband has grown cold toward her. She and her husband have tried for years to have a child, but the situation hasn't improved. Guo Weilun is Lin Shuling's student, who is deeply attached to his teacher. Their relationship changes during extracurricular activities.
