About the title
John Rambo lives a solitary life in a small village in Thailand. Weary of war and bloodshed, avoiding trouble, he lives peacefully, catching and selling snakes. One day, American missionaries approach him and ask him to take them by boat to Burma to help the Karen people, who have been the target of genocide for years. At first John refuses, since the country is in the throes of civil war, but he eventually reluctantly agrees and takes the group to their destination.
