About the title
The near future. Special forces officer Gemma begins to be haunted by frightening visions that blur the line between dream and reality, destroying her career. Children disappear across the country, livestock dies, and scarecrows begin appearing near the fields. Gemma notices a pattern connecting the abductions, occult forces, and the approaching end of the world. The deeper she delves into her own visions, the clearer it becomes that they may be the key to saving the missing children and understanding the causes of the impending catastrophe.
