About the title
Young lieutenant Alexei Filatov is a hereditary military man who cannot imagine any other calling for himself. He lives with his mother in Sevastopol and in 2014 takes the Russian military oath. But besides service, there is another life: youthful dreams and hopes, new love, and old friends. For many years, Lyosha had been nearly inseparable from his fellow cadets and comrades in service, Maxim Shalaev and Taras Komko. However, the political rift in the country also affects simple human relationships. Taras is the son of a high-ranking Ukrainian general, who forbids him from communicating with the «Crimean deserters». The conflict takes a dramatic turn when Alexei and Maxim come to visit Taras at his checkpoint and are arrested. They are charged with treason.
