About the title
The (not-so-)distant future. As a result of climate change that led to global nuclear war, civilization has been almost entirely destroyed: the land is scorched, cities lie in ruins. Machinery no longer works, and gasoline lost its properties long ago. The main currency in this world is two types of bullets: 9mm and 7.62mm for the AK-47. Haunted by ghosts of the past, a lone wanderer known as Ronin roams the wastelands in search of his father's killer, spending years mapping the continent. At every turn he is stalked by bounty hunters and bandits. But one day fate brings Ronin together with a headstrong teenage girl named Maria, who promises him the highest reward if he takes her to the place where she was born.
