About the title
Anya Smolina, an ordinary big-city resident, decides after a string of failures that it's time to change everything. She digs out her dusty old bicycle, puts her dachshund Kapa in a trailer, and sets off across the whole of Russia — to make peace with her mother. A long and difficult road awaits her, full of trials, a struggle with herself, friendly (and not so friendly) truckers, and roadside pastries. And, of course, this journey will bring some fateful encounters.
