About the series
Darya, who grew up in an orphanage, marries the wealthy businessman Dorokhin and becomes stepmother to six-year-old Kostik. However, within a year her married life falls apart and she leaves her husband, taking the boy with her. Her ex-husband sets off in pursuit of Dasha, since Kostik is heir to a large fortune that the pursuer can only access as long as he remains the boy's guardian.
