About the title
The 1990s. Three friends, Vova, Mamed, and Lyokha, are in school and dream, like everyone in Russia at the time, of starting their own business. But first they need money. Everything seemed to be going well, but they were not allowed to take their final exams. Fate itself, in the guise of the local semi-criminal authority figure Kostik, comes to the aid of the budding entrepreneurs. Kostik's liver has rotted — he needs a new one. The young businessmen obtain the coveted organ, but with this organ, things turn out not to be so simple.
