About the series
Pasha Belov, a Moscow native, studied at the Gnessin school of music, and he is also half-Uzbek with distinctly Central Asian features. But he was born and raised in a Russian family and knows nothing about his "Uzbek side." At 32, Pasha never became a musician and works as a piano tuner, still lives with his mother, borrows money from his older brother, and does everything his grandmother tells him. None of this bothers Pasha—he just goes with the flow. But then a forced move in with his friend Tolya, a broken tooth, financial troubles, and a chance meeting with Zhenya, a failed actress, force him to realize that tuning pianos is easier than tuning his own life.
