About the title
The film is based on a series of stories about the unpredictability of human nature and the ever-changing world. Combining elements of comedy and melodrama, it seeks to show the small details we overlook in everyday life, yet which make us happy. The characters face problems every day that have become part of their routine. Some constantly have to spend more than an hour in Moscow traffic jams to get to work or back home. Others regularly witness the replacement of paving tiles, even if they were laid only a few days earlier. Still other residents of the capital run into absurd film shoots and actors whose actions defy any explanation.
