About the title
The story is set in the near future, where the AEON company has become a billion-dollar pharmaceutical conglomerate offering the transfer of lifespan from one person to another. Elena and Max face financial problems, and Elena decides to sell 40 years of her life to AEON. Max, who works at the company, decides to win back his wife's lost years. He learns that AEON's CEO wants to take Elena's life and decides to kidnap her. The hunt for them takes them beyond their country's borders and puts their own moral convictions to the test.
