About the title
Kostya and Olya are university lecturers. While on vacation at a sanatorium, Olya becomes interested in a more respectable man — Sergei. Unable to find a better way to win back what he's lost, Kostya decides to get close to Sergei's daughter Sonya — the only way to be near Olya again and try to talk to her. Sonya isn't particularly interested in Kostya, but the idea of annoying her father at dinner with his new flame seems quite tempting to her...
