About the title
Rome, 1976. The Le Rose family lives a comfortable, affluent life. They have a house in an upscale district of Rome, a governess, and spend their summers by the sea in Calabria. Valerio is 10 years old and seems to have a wonderful childhood. But their familiar way of life collapses when an attempt is made on his father's life. It is then that, as if out of nowhere, Valerio gains a friend — Christian, a homeless teenager who suspiciously always seems to be nearby.
