About the series
An adaptation of the novel of the same name by E. Mikhalkova. Tired of married life and her husband's control, Viktoria takes a vacation and travels from Samara to St. Petersburg. After visiting a jewelry exhibition, Vika is stunned to discover the exhibit's centerpiece — an antique ring of fabulous value — in her bag. Confused and not knowing what to do, Vika is about to go to the police when two thugs kidnap her. A homeless man named Slavik comes to her rescue, helping her hide. Meanwhile, Vika's worried husband asks Makar Ilyushin and Sergei Babkin to track her down.
