About the series
An alien whose spaceship has crashed possesses Semyonov, a philology professor and the most spineless creature on the planet. To his horror, the alien learns that humanity burns oil, which was created by scientists of his more advanced civilization as a cure for all diseases. He wants to warn his "kinsmen" so that together they can rid Earth of the "human pests." But to do that, he needs to repair his ship somewhere quiet. However, he's not allowed to be alone, thanks to Semyonov's daughter Alyona, his ex-wife Katya, the dean, a UFO-obsessed building superintendent, and a strong passion for his colleague Anna Mikhailovna.
