About the title
The film centers on twenty members of the elite firefighting crew "Granite Mountain Hotshots," called upon to save the nearby town of Prescott from one of the most devastating wildfires in history. While battling the disaster, the crew becomes trapped by the flames. In the end, 19 firefighters died, and only one member of the team survived. The film is based on true events that occurred in June 2013 during the deadliest wildfire in Arizona's history.
