About the title
At a London party Claire throws after a breakup, her old friend Ben bursts in, calling from New York. He has inherited his father's magnificent beach house and club on the Caribbean island of Nevis, in the West Indies, and wants her and her old crew to join him for a week. Falling in love with the island and delighting in being together again like in the old days, they unanimously decide to stay for a year — one year off to rebuild their lives. Working together, they put on gorgeous beach weddings: the first a beginner's stroke of luck, the second a dismal failure. Suddenly, trouble strikes in paradise. Can magical Nevis transform them and help old wounds heal, and love blossom under the sun, in this heartfelt comedy?
