About the title
Folk wisdom has it that when a man marries, he gets all of his beloved's relatives thrown in for free. For the hero of this story, the "free bonus" is... the ghost of his beloved's father. The old man had a nasty temper even in life, and having become a ghost, he decided to finally drive everyone crazy.
